The Tactilus® squeegee leveling sensor is engineered to collect precise pressure position and magnitude data directly at the point of contact.
An improperly aligned squeegee can lead to misregistration, uneven dispersion of solutions, and serious product defects — reducing yield and increasing costs.
Unlike conventional pressure transducers or load cells, the Tactilus® sensor is placed directly at the interface where contact occurs, ensuring superior accuracy, repeatability, and validity.
The intuitive Tactilus® software quickly reveals the weighted average center of mass along the squeegee surface. When perfectly centered, alignment is optimized and performance is maximized.

Tactilus® Technology
Tactilus® is a matrix-based tactile surface sensor — essentially an “electronic skin” that records and interprets pressure distribution and magnitude between two contacting or mating surfaces.
Data is assimilated into a powerful yet user-friendly Windows®-based toolkit, providing clear visualization and actionable insights.
Each sensor is assembled to exacting tolerances, individually calibrated, and serialized. Its modular architecture allows portability, easy expansion, and simultaneous data collection from up to six discrete sensor pads.
Sophisticated mathematical algorithms intelligently separate signal from noise, while advanced electronic shielding maximizes resistance to environmental interference, including electromagnetic noise, temperature variation, and humidity.
The proprietary sensor design ensures exceptional durability and robustness — a long-term investment capable of sustaining thousands of uses.
